Welcome to the Ellipsiad

For some time, I've been thinking about writing a creative blog - not fine art or literature, but original short verse and my thoughts about similar topics, including prose extracts. In general, brevity (or ellipsis, hence the title) will be the key - not necessarily as short and formalised as, say, haiku (though I'm sure this will turn up), but nor will you find the likes of The Song of Hiawatha unless I decide to write about a short fragment. Sorry Calliope. I was thinking about calling it 'Iamb the Walrus', but that was already taken - and in hindsight doesn't really fit what I want to do here; I just like the pun. So, let the word-dabbling begin...
